Reunion 2012: March 29 – April 1, 2012

Make plans NOW to join us for our 2012 Reunion!

The Class of 1962 will celebrate its 50th Anniversary at our Spring 2012 Annual Reunion. Special honorees are classes ending in “2” and “7.” However, Reunions are always open to all classes, whether or not you are celebrating a special anniversary (a multiple of five or ten years since graduation). *NOTE that Reunion 2012 is being held one week BEFORE Easter!

Reunion 2012 will be held from Thursday, March 29 to Sunday, April 1, 2012, at the beautiful Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg, conveniently located at the intersection of Routes 15 and 30. The Wyndham hosted Reunions 2010 and 2011 and received rave reviews from attendees.

We are working to keep costs down in an effort to give everyone a great Reunion at a reasonable price. Here’s how the weekend is shaping up.

Thursday, March 29

• We open on Thursday afternoon for registration, followed by a welcome reception that evening.

Friday, March 30

• There is an optional lunch on campus and/or tours of the campus.
• Take time to enjoy the hotel’s pool or exercise room, or to visit Gettysburg, the outlets, or the Emmitsburg Antique Mall.
• Mass, coordinated by the Golden Jubilarian Class of 1962, will be offered in the former college chapel
• The evening is reserved for Class Dinners at area restaurants or at the Wyndham. Large groups should make their arrangements in advance.

Saturday, March 31

• Coffee and doughnuts (no charge) in “The Pines” at the Wyndham in the a.m.
• An optional salad buffet luncheon at the Wyndham, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
• Don’t miss tea at the Emmitsburg home of Mount St. Mary’s President Dr. Thomas Powell and his wife Irene at 2 p.m.
• The Alumnae Memorial Mass begins at 4 p.m. in the Basilica of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton.
• A social hour and banquet at the Wyndham follow Mass.
• Class photos taken prior to the banquet

Sunday, April 1

• Reunion breakfast and the very important Annual Meeting

Other Highlights

• Class dinners on Friday evening
• “The Pines” at the Wyndham for class gatherings
• “Allegra’s Alley” - our SJC store, with lovely merchandise and chances to win beautiful themed baskets

You don’t have to be a member of an anniversary class to attend Reunion. Call friends and classmates and plan your own mini-reunion.

Register for Reunion

Please note, that in addition to reserving your accommodations, you must book a separate Reunion reservation with the SJC Alumnae office. SJC forms were mailed out in early January 2012.
