Anne Jacqueline Boyle Anstett
Class of '61
Anne Jacqueline Boyle Anstett, a member of the Class of 1961, died Sept. 15, 2008 at York Hospital, York, PA. Anne was born April 18, 1939 in Coaldale, PA, and was a daughter of the late Frank and Mary McNelis Boyle. She was a graduate of, and later a teacher at Bishop McDevitt High School, Harrisburg, and had also taught at St. Joseph School and York Catholic High School.
She is survived by Leighton C. Anstett, her husband of 45 years, three children, Karen Cummings and her husband Michael of York, Gregory Anstett and his wife Diane of Lancaster, and Patti Anstett of York; two grandchildren, Alexander and Patrick Anstett of Lancaster; two sisters, Alice Byrne of Venice, FL and Rosemary Powers of Middleton, WI; a sister-in-law, Mary Jean Stoner of Mechanicsburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews. Another sister, Marian Sassaman, predeceased her.
The family suggested memorial contributions to St. Joseph Church, 2935 Kingston Rd., York, PA 17402; or to York Catholic High School, 601 East Springettsbury Ave., York, PA 17403.
