In Memoriam

We Remember.... Doris Skidmore Cody
Class of '51

Doris Skidmore Cody, 79, beloved wife, mother and grandmother, died Oct. 6, 2008. A member of the SJC Class of 1951, she was born Aug. 27, 1929, in Brooklyn, NY, the youngest child of Harold and Margaret Fenning Skidmore. Doris was a longtime resident of Missouri City, TX, where she was an avid golfer at the Quail Valley Country Club and a stalwart of the Women's Golf Association.

She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Arthur Cody; daughters, Marian Lilly (Whitey), Cynthia Williford ( Warren), and Teresa Cashion (Timothy); ten grandchildren; brothers Alfred Skidmore and Fr. Harold Skidmore; and a very large loving family.
