Paula Joan Fetsko Lee
Class of '60
Paula Joan Fetsko Lee, 71, a member of the SJC Class of 1960, died peacefully in her sleep at home on October 15, 2009.
A beloved wife and mother, Paula, born August 2, 1938, was a longtime Washington, DC, area resident and a retired high school teacher.
She graduated from Trinity College, Washington, DC, in 1961 and married fellow DC resident Lawrence Lee on June 23, 1962. They lived in Silver Spring, MD, and New Jersey, eventually returning to the Silver Spring area permanently.
Paula dedicated 35 years of her life to teaching both in Prince Georges County and Montgomery County, MD, and retired from Seneca Valley High School shortly before her death. She had recently retired from teaching ending her career at Seneca Valley High School.
Paula and Larry were looking forward to moving to Ocean Pines, MD, and were busy planning for their retirement. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two children, Lauren Lee Asbury of Berlin, MD, and Christopher Lee of Atlanta; grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth Lee, Aidan Asbury, Kathryn Asbury, Aubrey Lee, Faith Lee and Hudson Lee; a sister, Mary Carey; and nieces and nephews.
